Minds Matter of Los Angeles

Minds Matter of Los Angeles addresses the fact that students from low-income households face many challenges in achieving a college education, including lack of access to college counselling,
supplemental academic preparation, summer learning opportunities, and financial support.

Minds Matter of Los Angeles is a rigorous college access program that helps high school students from low-income families achieve their dream of a college education.

Volunteers are needed to be mentors for our students, helping them overcome challenges in preparing for college. Mentors help their students understand how to choose a college, and navigate
the often difficult application and financial aid process. To volunteer, click here.
