The LAPD said a suspicious device was spotted late Thursday night on a bus in Sherman Oaks. Everyone was ordered off the bus, as authorities moved in to check out the item.
The bus was left unoccupied while police waited for bomb experts to arrive. The busy intersection of Sepulveda and Ventura Boulevards was nearly empty, while the situation remained under investigation.
