NBC4’s Beverly White Receives Pasadena NAACP Honor

NBC4 Reporter Beverly White was the recipient of the Pasadena NAACP Community Award at the 27th Annual Ruby McKnight Williams Awards Dinner on Thursday, September 13, 2012.   White participates in numerous charitable events each year and was honored for her extensive community efforts and volunteer work. 

This year marks the 27th anniversary of the Awards Dinner which celebrates the accomplishments of the Pasadena Branch of the civil rights organization and the achievements of those who are working to improve civil and human rights, or who give their time and talents for the good of the community. 
 
Fourteen influential honorees, representing a number of different professional fields, were honored.
