Bunnies Bounce for St. Pat's, and More Offbeat Picks

THE BUNNY MUSEUM: As always, this Pasadena landmark is doing a free open house for the holiday, as it does for every major holiday. If it seems more Easter-appropriate to visit this collection of thousands and thousands -- and thousands, we might add -- of bunny-themed collectibles on the baskets-and-eggs day coming up in April, we hear you, but note that a lot of other people think "bunnies" on that bonnet-y day, too. Why not get there a holiday ahead and celebrate St. Patrick's with the whiskery, furry creatures instead of leprechauns? We guarantee that, whatever you collect, the world-famous Bunny Museum will outdo you. Plus we like how Candace Frazee, who runs the museum, always wishes everyone a "hoppy" day... Tuesday, March 17, 3-6PM. 1933 Jefferson Drive, Pasadena. 626-798-8848

MORE MARCH 17 PICKS: The Cinefamily looks at "Occult LA: Esoteric Cinema in the Southland" at Silent Movie Theatre. Leprechauns bowl at Lucky Strike downtown. And Spaceland puts on one pint-y party with a loud 'n mad Pogues tribute.
