Saturday is Record Store Day

Record stores are out to prove on Saturday that they are still an important part of the American cultural landscape.
Hundreds of independently owned stores across the country will take part in Record Store Day.
This is the second annual celebration of independent record stores. Among the special events -- at stores such as Fingerprints in Long Beach -- will be 150 exclusive releases, available only at participating stores.
Stores will also provide visitors with goodie bags that promote new formats and information about new movies, music and gaming releases.
