Golden Globe-winning actress Kyra Sedgwick will receive the 2,384th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday, the same day her police drama "The Closer" begins its fifth season on TNT.

Sedgwick's star will be next to her husband Kevin Bacon's, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which administers the Walk of Fame, announced Wednesday.

Sedgwick has received four Golden Globe nominations, winning once, three Emmy nominations and a People's Choice Award for her portrayal of Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson on "The Closer." She is also an executive producer of the series.

Sedgwick also received Golden Globe nominations for the 1995 film "Something to Talk About" and the 1992 made-for-television movie "Miss Rose White."

Sedgwick was born in New York City on Aug. 19, 1965 and is a descendant of William Ellery, who signed the Declaration of Independence.
