Hitting the airwaves in December 1989, KROQ-FM’s Kevin & Bean have livened up LA’s morning drive with sharp wit, comedy, music, and listener call-ins. The show made headlines including an infamous 2003 crank call to French President Jacques Chirac's office. Show staffer Ralph Garman posed as Jerry Lewis, and to everyone’s surprise, Chirac picked up the phone. In 2009 the show went nationwide, taking over for the Adam Carolla show.
