Spaceland has long been a mainstay in the live music community since the infamous first show in 1995 featuring the then unknown Foo Fighters. The 260 capacity space-themed venue rocks with state-of-the-art sound, 2 full bars, pool table, couches, and is known for breaking new acts . Mondays feature the best up and coming locals and touring acts. Wednesdays host Club NME showcasing the best DJ's spinning rock, indie, punk, electro, and more. And when the ad says "special guests," you never know who you might see.

- Late-night Spaceland is terrible. They make you wait in line outside when it's not necessary. Bands play nowhere near their scheduled times. Parking and public transit situations are horrible. 21 means that local bands can't develop a young following. Sure, White Stripes and Arcade Fire played Spaceland first, but those bands played great shows at the Troubadour as well, only with better sound and lighting at the Troubadour.
