"Star Wars" the Musical makes for the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live on Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th.
"STAR WARS": IN CONCERT: Help us, Obi-Wan, you're our only hope. We want to see costumes and drawings and Lucasian artifacts and thrill to a gigantic orchestra playing along to scenes from all the movies. What? You say that there's a musical extravaganza on tour, and it'll be at the Nokia Theatre both tonight and tomorrow night? Great wookiee, we better get downtown. If only there was a Millennium Falcon nearby...
HAUNTED FULLERTON WALKING TOUR: You like hearing backstory (of course you do, you live in movieland). And maybe you like ghosty tales this time of year, too. If you like both, make for this storied old town, but better ring first; the tour tends to sell out. When we rang last night, there were a handful of spots left. The tour is $18 and takes place at 6:30PM; call 714-738-6545 (If you miss this one, there are others.)
IN LOVE WITH NIGHT: If you wanted to arrive early in Orange County, make some time and make for Chapman University, where an exhibit devoted to evening themes and shadowy substances is about to wrap up on October 9th. Brave enough? It's art. You're brave enough. At the Guggenheim Gallery. Note: This night-loving exhibit is happening in daytime.
