The Wild Bunch

"The Wild Bunch" screens at the Million Dollar Theatre on Thursday, November 12th.

"THE WILD BUNCH" ANNIVERSARY: Seeing Sam Peckinpah's famous western played large and Mr. Ernest Borgnine in person would certainly be enough for a celebratory cinematic evening, but here are two more things we're liking: the Jules Verne Adventure Festival is the host, and the magnificent Million Dollar Theatre is the location. 7PM

HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS: Is it the power of love? It is. Is the heart of rock 'n roll still beatin'? Indeed. Is this it? We're letting you know. The Bay Area's famous bluesy-popsters are doing that strut-hop thing they famously do at Club Nokia. Can we also add that Mr. Lewis acted in one of the great LA films, "Short Cuts"? We can, and will. 8PM

FREE WINTER DREAM TEA LATTES: Or a Peppermint Latte. Or a Peppermint Ice Blended. Or a Pumpkin Latte or Ice Blended. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is throwing a Holiday Open House this afternoon/evening from 4-8PM, with a free drink giveaway. This sip is a 12-ouncer; check the list and make sure your Coffee Bean is doing the complimentary bevs.
