THE GRAMMY MUSEUM PRESENTS: MAXWELL: What a week for nominations, truly. The Independent Spirit Awards revealed its slate, the Sundance Film Festival is announcing its selections, and now, the GRAMMY nods. Maxwell is singing at a Club Nokia concert to celebrate, and to honor the first anniversary of the GRAMMY Museum, which is days away. Get all the details on the big night.

ARTIVIST FILM FESTIVAL: Movies that talk about the big ideas -- how humanity and the planet and our fellow animal earthlings all work together, should work together and can -- are the heart of this multi-city movie run. It's in Hollywood through December 5th; "Children of War" and "Ice Bears of Beaufort" play tonight.

USC THORNTON CHORAL WINTER GALA CONCERT: Free and festive. Say it with us now. Just one of those things is great, but both? We're pulling on our hat and heading for the door. If you need some major festive-ing up this instant, make for Bovard Auditorium at the University Park Campus at 7:30PM. We want the classics. "Ding! Dong! Merrily on High," revive us now please.
