Master magician Ricky Jay returns to the Geffen Playhouse with "A Rogue's Gallery"; opening night is Tuesday, December 29th.
RICKY JAY: The magician and actor (props for his work on "Deadwood") and all-around smartie-about-the-mystical-arts guy returns to the Geffen Playhouse for ten performances. Only ten. Do you remember his one-man show back in the summer of '08? We remember wait lists. People wanted in. "A Rogue's Gallery" opens tonight. If you like hocus pocus and the brain and fine showmanship, get there.
GEORGE LOPEZ: It's the final night of his annual holidaytime run at Nokia Theatre; this is #6 of six dates. You do know he was just inducted as the theater's first hall of fame honoree? That's because the comedian has performed there a lot. And he's so funny. So on it. So George Lopez. If you haven't seen him live, we'd try for tonight.
