Kings of the Dance leaps into the Ahmanson for two nights only, Tuesday, February 16th and Wednesday, February 17th.
KINGS OF THE DANCE: Take nearly a dozen dancers from troupes like the famous Bolshoi Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada. Give them each their own moment in the spotlight. Book the Ahmanson for just two nights. Result? A night of premiere, world-class performance. Tonight and tomorrow, 7:30PM
CONCERTS: Los Lonely Boys are at House of Blues tonight (and Canyon Club tomorrow); Mia Doi Todd is continuing her Tuesday night February run at Spaceland; and Rickie Lee Jones is at the Vista (a great match-up of artist and venue).
"YEAR OF THE SLUT": It's got such the title. It's at Theatre Theater, a company known for quality shows. And it deals with topics both familiar and not-for-the-faint-of-heart (especially if you've been single in the big city). It's like reveling in a bit of the weekend on a weekday night. There are only two more shows, tonight and tomorrow.
