HIROMI UEHARA: Beautiful and energetic jazzy-synth fusion goodness by one of the premiere pianists on the stage today. Do you have a moment? Time to watch her video. The Aratani/Japan America Theatre at the Japanese American Cultural Center is the spot, and the Jazz Bakery is the presenter. 8 p.m.

"FLASHFORWARD": It might be some sort of trick of time and space getting folded, but the 2010 PaleyFest is just a couple of days away from wrapping up. But there's still time to see the cast of this fantasy-mind-bender of a show chatting on a panel. Joseph Fiennes and Sonya Walger will be at the Saban Theatre, at 7 p.m.

COMEDY TROUPE DUBS "PLAN 9": Take a whole different sci-fi property -- say, "Plan 9 from Outer Space" -- and have a comedy group -- say, like the L.A. Connection -- dub it. Hilarity and strangeness shall reign. At Laemmle's Royale Theatre at 10 p.m.
