SERENA MANEESH: The Oslo-born band recently took the stage in the My Bloody Valentine-curated All Tomorrow's Parties show; if you didn't see that, and you haven't gotten to Norway lately, you're in luck: The rockers are at the Troubadour tonight.

MARVIN HAMLISCH: You like movie music. "The Way We Were" and "The Sting" and James Bond. And "A Chorus Line." And other stage biggies. So of course you like this composer, who has been up for, and received, just about every headlining honor out there. See/hear him at the Freud.

CARTOON DUMP: It's the fourth Monday of the month, which means this just-for-adults show lampooning classic kids shows returns to the Steve Allen Theatre. It's spring break in a lot of places. If you're not observing, but still feel the need to do something youthful, with edge, this could be it.
