"ZOMBIELAND" ZOMBIE WALK: Should something so fresh on Rotten Tomatoes be associated with zombies? Because, zombies. Famously unfresh. Still, we're intrigued. The new Woody Harrelson flick opens Friday, but people dressed like zombies will be out in force for a full-on shuffle. There's a free screening after, but all interested undead must RSVP. Zombie Walk, 6:15PM, Grauman's Chinese Theatre
CONCERTS. SO. MANY. CONCERTS: Pearl Jam's with Ben Harper at Gibson Amphitheatre (there are several nights to go, if you miss this one). The Avalon's hosting Alice in Chains. And Datarock is rocking El Rey.
"TOO CATCH A THIEF" AND "DEATH PROOF": Okay, two movies that perhaps couldn't be more different. Or could they? There's a car. And. Well. We want to note them both because "To Catch a Thief" is glorious on the big screen; it's part of the AFI series at ArcLight Hollywood. And the longer/bolder "Death Proof" is getting its LA debut at New Bev, that friend to grindhouse-y things. Vroom vroom.
