An airport, lots of looking, and the first day of spring.

The Santa Monica Art Studios are included in the March 20, 2010 Santa Monica Airport Art Walk.
Look, we could run around all giggly and pick daisies and devour snowcones on the first day of spring.
Sounds good, actually. Or we could go to an art walk at the Santa Monica airport.
To be honest, we'll probably do both.
We are indeed happy that this large and free art extravaganza is coinciding with the spring's 2010 kick-off, on Saturday, March 20. You're picturing yourself in a sundress, and sunglasses, and sunblock, strolling the airport grounds, peeking in galleries, wandering the Santa Monica Art Studios, dining at Typhoon or the Spitfire Grill, watching raku-firing demos.
That is a perfect early spring day to us, and to you, too, we hope. It's a grand event, and it is free, and the parking is free, and there aren't many things in this world where all of those things come together.
