Well That Was Fast; Coachella Sells Out in 6 Days

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was sold out Wednesday, with all three-day passes being snapped up in less than a week, according to its Twitter feed.

Three-day tickets for the April 15-17 concert series, which cost $269, were sold out by about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Sales started Friday at 10 a.m.

Among the top acts are the Kings of Leon, which will open the festival; Arcade Fire, set to play April 16 and rapper Kanye West, who will close the series.

The festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio drew up to 75,000 people each of its three days last year.
