Crowd Pardons West's Interruption for Common's Cause

Without Kanye West in the crowd to interrupt him, Kanye West delivered an uninterrupted performance.

West performed in front of an appreciative crowd Saturday at Common's benefit concert, according to TMZ.com. West's surprise appearance at the Palladium was his first on stage since he interrupted award winner Taylor Swift during her speech at the MTV VMA.

Common & Friends: Heart & Soul also featured The Roots, De La Soul, Ludacris and Nas. The announcement on the foundation's website mentioned the aforementioned stars "plus huge special guests…"

The Common Ground Foundation provides mentorship and reading programs for urban youth.
