Five Green LA Blogs

Looking for a new local blog?

In a social media-drenched, Twitter'd-out kind of world, the blog lumbers on, with its longer entries and deeper observations.

Which is a good thing. Blogs, don't go away, don't transmogrify -- well, too much -- and don't ever stop looking inward/outward in that funny way that you do.

Your Daily Thread has just kindly rounded up five green-good Los Angeles blogs that we have not been privy to but will be privy now. Snob on a Bus details a rider's anecdote-filled Metro-ing about town (like Your Daily Thread observed, the writer isn't really a snob; the title is a bit winky, in fact).

Will her anecdoting inspire more people to use our excellent system? We hope. By the way, if you've never used Metro.net's handy trip planner, find out all the places you can go, for mere dollars.

Other blogs on the local roster focus on eats and activism and saving and sartorial adventures (Marisa at New Dress a Day mixes up the vintage finds). Does your reader need a bit more LA-ish-ness? Probably.
