Grab your pride flag and pack up the car -- it's time to drive out to the desert once again for Palm Springs' annual gay pride festival and parade.

More than 20,000 people are expected at this weekend's 23rd annual Greater Palm Springs Festival and Parade. This year's theme is "Your Rights, Our Rights, Human Rights."

There'll be more than 200 booths and an appearance by dance diva Pepper Mashay. Gay-rights activist and consultant on the movie "Milk," Cleve Jones, will serve as grand marshal of Sunday's parade.

Admission to the festival is $15 per person and $20 for a two-day pass.
