DOWNTOWN MUSIC: Grammy goddess Melissa Etheridge brings her "Fearless Love" tour to the Orpheum tonight; showtime is 8 p.m. And old-school Texas sounds with a bit of swing sing out at the Grammy Museum, courtesy of Asleep at the Wheel. They're also on at 8 p.m.
WINE.JAZZ.MOONLIGHT: It's August 31. A few things are ending, like the Hollywood & Highland summertime vino and tunes evenings. The tunes are free, the tastings are $10, and Oscar Hernandez and the LA/NY Connection are serenading the season out.
BHANGRA NIGHT: It's "A Celebration of India" complete with food trucks (dosas, mmm), dance troupes, and music. Americana at Brand is the location and Pacific Asia Museum is lending support. 6-9 p.m.
