Tonight: “The Wall” Redux

This is your last chance to enjoy the live epic, SoCalers.

"THE WALL" LIVE: The puppet-and-mystery-and-image-filled Roger Waters concert has been the talk of people who like their smart spectacles played live for a few weeks now, ever since it landed at Staples. Now the Pink Floyder is doing one last night in Southern California, at the Honda Center. Oh, we said "puppet-and-mystery-and-image-filled," yes, but there's music. It's "The Wall," played in full.

GRINDHOUSE FILM FEST: Before Bob Clark famously directed "A Christmas Story" -- which you'll likely see, or have the opportunity to see, at some point this Christmas season -- he made a scarier film that also deals with the holidays and stars Olivia Hussey of "Romeo and Juliet." Two seasonal frighteners are playing at New Bev tonight as part of the fest, in fact.

"THE HOLIDAY": Much cheerier, much more recent, much more romcom-y, much more likely to feature Jude Law's twinkle-eyed smiles. We remember rather liking the British abode in this Diaz-Winslet flick, all beams and drafts. It's at ArcLight Sherman Oaks tonight.
