The Woodland Hills ice skating rink is opening Wednesday afternoon, and they're making it worth your while.

On Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., admission is half off, which includes free introductory skating lessons. Feel free to put those savings toward your Black Friday shopping fund.

The ice rink will stay open until Feb. 21, according to its website:

Woodland Hills Ice opens November 25, 2009 for our first annual winter wonderland, in the heart of the West San Fernando Valley at Westfield Promenade in Woodland Hills. Featuring over 6,000 square feet of real ice, our outdoor ice rink will offer daily recreational ice skating along with special events, skating exhibitions and shows, birthday parties, holiday activities, skating lessons and more throughout the duration of the holiday season and through the winter.

The rink is located at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
