Historic Hotels of America Preservation Month: It's May, so there are two weekends left to enjoy. Although several of the specials listed on the Preservation Month page are good through the end of 2010.

California inns: Historic Hotels spotlights three in its "Old is the New Green" Preservation Month promotion: Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, the Fairmont San Francisco, and The Sainte Claire in San Jose.

$83: Where rates are starting at at the Sainte Claire; note that the deal ends on August 31, 2010. The Fairmont and Inn at Rancho Santa Fe are offering luxe'd-out packages starting at $495 and $399.
