Costume Design Exhibition Highlights Oscar Winners

You don’t always hear the words “free ticket” associated with the movies. The FDIM museum is showcasing 17th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design features amazing costumes from some of 2008's best films, including Academy Award®-winning “Elizabeth: The Golden Age.” And it’s free to the public.

On view will be over 125 actual costumes from 25 motion pictures including films nominated for the Academy Award® for Best Costume. Featured designers include Jacqueline West for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," Deborah Hopper for "Changeling," and Sandy Powell for "The Other Boleyn Girl."

The exhibit runs until March 29. Docent led tours are available. Tour times are 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm & 3pm. The exhibition can be viewed free of charge during open hours, Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm.
