LVMH Shops for Rodarte

Does LVMH want to buy or invest in Rodarte? That's the rumor going around since LVMH North America chairman Renauld Dutreil was spotted in a prime, front-row seat at at the Rodarte show on Tuesday.

The French luxury megacorp already owns a slew of fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton, Donna Karan and Fendi. We're excited for the Mulleavy sisters, and also apprehensive about what this would mean for them. On the one hand, we want them to maintain their indie-couture sensibilities, on the other, we love them and wish them great piles of money. [FWD]
