Lady Gaga Drops Her Poker Face

Lady Gaga let down her poker face.

The "Paparazzi" songstress known for her blonde locks, oversized sunglasses and outrageous, often face-obscuring ensembles finally revealed her face during an apperance on a German chat show "Wetten Dass...?" yesterday, British newspaper The Daily Mail reported

The smoky-eyed songbird appeared somewhat mainstream on the show Saturday night when she waltzed onto the stage wearing an all black strapless ensemble with material that jutted out of her hips perpendicularly and matching black PVC boots.

The 23-year-old singer was showing so much of her own skin that she was able to discuss the tattoos on her arm with the host, including one tattoo of a poem by German writer Rainer Maria Rilke, the paper reported.

Eccentric style choices have come to be expected from the singer, whose fashion selections have included face-obscuring lace headpieces, a leather dress encircled with oversized gold crystals and a piece made entirely out of Kermit the Frog stuffed animals.

The singer's design team, Haus of Gaga, is primarily responsible for her outfits.

"They're my best friends," she told MTV. "I'm not really sure what the world thinks ... but I do hear things like, 'Who is the Haus of Gaga? and 'Are you putting out a fashion line?' And no one gets it. It's not a commodity. It's not something that's meant to be sold."
