A Recession-Proof Menu
Financial Market’s got you down? Enjoy soothing comfort food and donate to a good cause. Falcon Restaurant is launching “Give & Get Thursday,” a weekly event featuring a “Market Crash and Recession Proof” menu as well as live jazz in a spacious outdoor patio.
In lieu of a cover charge, Falcon is asking patrons to bring two or more canned goods to donate to SOVA Community Food and Resource Program, a non-sectarian organization providing food and services to the community.
The “Market Crash Menu” includes classic comfort foods with a gourmet twist: PB&J with Kahlua & Milk, Mini Grilled-Cheese Sandwiches with Tomato Gazpacho, and a guest favorite, Mac & Cheese. The best part: it won’t bankrupt your wallet. Many items cost just $5.00.
The Recession Proof cocktail menu includes new signature drinks such as “The Stockbroker Blues,” “The Plunge,” and “The Gordon Gekko,” also for $5.00. Falcon also offers their own home-made “Bathtub Gin” for $1.00. Entertainment is by The Falcon 3, a jazz trio featuring Justin Apergis on upright bass, Travis Newlon on guitar, and Ken Moran on saxophone.
“Give & Get Thursday” runs every Thursday night starting November 6th from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. and continues through December 18th.
