FROYOLAND— No longer do probiotics simply exist in the frozen stuff at Red Mango. Perhaps to one up the competition, next week the chain will introduce a line of probiotic-fortified teas in three new flavors: Lemonocity, a lemonade green tea; Mysteaque, a vanilla black tea; and Fanteasia, a wildberry hibiscus tea. SANTA MONICA— The Daily Dish caught an early rendering of the up and coming BP Oysterette. With a "clam shack" menu where all dishes are under $20 and a "Cape Cod/Hamptons vibe," the Oysterette will bring a fresh take on seafood, slated to open the end of August/beginning of September. [DD]

BEVERLY HILLS— Emails a reader, "Just drove by Katsu on Beverly Drive. A sign on the door says 'We are temporarily closed.' Not a good omen since they never seemed very busy." Uh-oh, is someone spying a shutter-to-be? Will be a shame because the dining room above is quite pretty. [EaterWire]
