MID-CITY— Last Friday Seafood Village Restaurant & Fish Market on Melrose reopened after a temporary shutter for renovations. The new look also includes a new menu, but old sign. [EaterWire]

OUT AND ABOUT— Dig the meth lab meets art gallery vibe over at Intelligentsia? Squid Ink scored a Q&A with the designer, Barbara Bestor, who is also responsible for Lou and the Pitfire Pizza renovation. [SI]

OC— Over 100 restaurants are slated to partake in this year's OC Restaurant Week which will take place September 13 to 19. The three course prix-fixe menus are priced at $10-$15-$20 for lunch, and $20-$30-$40 for dinner, just a bit cheaper than LA's upcoming deal weeks dineLA. Standouts include David Myers' Pizzeria Ortica and Sage on the Coast, but the full list lives here. [EaterWire]
