The time to keep your eyes peeled for Ferran Adria sightings around Los Angeles: October 14. That's when the Spanish chef (or molecular gastronomist, whatever you want to call him) will be signing copies of his new 600-page, lavisly illustrated seven-pound cookbook, "A Day at El Bulli" at the Cook's Library on 3rd Street.
