Osteria Mozza
After our recent trip to Mozza, this deal sounds like something I can’t pass up. The Amaro Bar at Mozza is running a Monday-Wednesday special. For $35 choose any item from the Mozzarella Bar (or share a mozzarella tasting), one pasta, one dessert and a glass of either Bastianich Friulano or La Mozza Morellino di Scansano. No reservation required, just snag a seat at the bar, if you can.
Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse
Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse will be bringing out the grill to their outdoor patio this Thursday afternoon (6/25) from 3:30-9:30pm for an impromptu happy hour BBQ. Chef Brian Kiepler will be on hand grilling up a storm, so don’t miss Nick + Stef’s $2.50 carne asada tacos, $6 summer cocktails and more! Free parking (for 3 hours w/validation after 4pm) in the Wells Fargo parking garage. Enter on Hope St. between 3rd and 4th. As always, no corkage at Nick + Stef’s. Could make for a very cheap meal.
