Long lines are a staple at Pink’s original hot dog shack in Hollywood, but it’s owners know a secret time to avoid the lines and get a dog without much effort.  The lines can stretch around the building off La Brea and Melrose for hours any day.

"People say they don’t mind waiting in line," said Gloria Pink, who appeared on Digital NewsRaw.  "Actually, they say it’s a great way to meet a guy or a girl because nobody is going to move out of that line."

Gloria and Beverly Pink stop by NewsRaw with dozens of hot dogs to talk about the new store in Orange County at Knotts Berry Farm.

But she did reveal two key times to avoid the wait, the lines, and yes, even potentially your next date.  "If you catch it right before lunch time, around 11am or right before dinner, between five and seven."

Gloria Pink along with sister-in-law Beverly talked with Mekahlo Medina on NewsRaw about the grand opening of a new Pink’s in Orange county at the historic Knott's Berry Farm.

"Our family is so proud to be part of the Knott’s family because they have a 75-year history, we have a 70-year history… we say it’s a match made in a bun," said Gloria Pink.

The new restaurant is already up and running just outside of the theme park at the "Knott's Berry Farm Marketplace", which does not require theme park admission.

The Pink’s will kick off the grand opening Sunday February 28th at 11am.  A plethora of tween show celebrities will be on hand for the ribbon cutting, wiener dog races, hot dog eating contest, and even a dog fashion show.  From 11am-1pm, part of the proceeds will go to Red Cross to help with Haiti relief.
