Tart's Nice November Deal

Tart at the Farmers Daughter Motel gives back through November 25th.

Do all roads lead to The Grove come mid- to late-November? Sometimes it seems that way, thanks to the Giant Tree From the Planet of Big Trees smack in the center, and the whole outdoor shopping center giving Santa's workshop a run for twinkly merriment.

We're guessing you're going to be Grove-adjacent at some point in the next few weeks. And if you're not, we're suggesting that you get Grove-adjacent before November 25th. Because Tart, the restaurant at the Farmers Daughter Motel, will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to the Los Angeles Mission right up through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

That this is not just a one-day deal is so nice. That DineLA gave us the tip is also nice. That you'll be steps away from that huge tree is, well, nice. Parking once and doing several things... yep. Nice.

Also nice: Tart's fried green tomatoes, the cornbread muffins and the pickled veges. And the motel-y setting is another selling point, if you haven't been. And if you haven't been, now's the time.
