Monday, starting at 7PM, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will announce the winning “LAX International Dog” recipe from a recent contest among LAX employees.
The winning recipe earns a spot on the menu at Pink’s LAX which is slated to open later this year/early 2010. Also tonight, lasting 70 minutes, Pink's will serve 70-cent chili cheese dogs (all proceeds going to charity) in celebration of Pink's 70th anniversary at the original La Brea stand. [EaterWire]
