The End of Orso: Famed Eatery Closing Shop

Orso's website says the Los Angeles restaurant will be closed this year on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Technically though, Orso Los Angeles will be closed every day starting Nov. 21.

The industry hangout will be closing its doors for good, owner Taylor Lumia confirmed to the New York Times. The restaurant's London and New York locations will remain open.

"It's not without some sadness and remorse," Lumia said. "These things are never easy."

Orso opened in 1989 and was known as a show biz epicenter for run-ins and gossip.
