Century City: Oh, snap: Annenberg Foundation announced plans for a museum and community space devoted to digital images and print photography. Commenters pointed out how small it was.

Los Angeles: So many Lautners featured this week. The last one on the tour: An earlier home, the Jacobsen Residence (1947).

Hollywood: Another tall tower coming: Hanover Co. wants to put up a 20-story, mixed-use building at the southwest corner of Hollywood and Gower.

Los Angeles: Across the city, people unrolled the tarps, the astroturf, the real stuff and celebrated (PARK)ing day.

Venice: Also opening its doors: The Marmol Radziner prefeb house. Completely true: Our companion's favorite part was the laundry room. It's the perfect dimensions, she said.

Downtown: Big tower Evo opened its doors and we toured three different units, the pool, and the rest of the new building. What a time to be coming to market.
