Madewell, J.Crew's hip big sister, has teamed up with e-commerce site Shopbop on a limited-edition line of denim. It's just seven items—two pairs of jeans, a miniskirt, shorts, a romper, a beat-up jacket and a vest—and it's no Lanvin x Acne, but everything's reasonably cute. Nicest touch: The ex-boyfriend jeans, which are infinitely better than boyfriend jeans because if he's your ex, you never have to return them.

Items range from $125 to $200, which does seem a bit high for denim that's had the tar kicked out of it. (Blogger Bunnyshop, on the $200 ex jeans: "Maybe it's sewn with gold thread?") And we'd be remiss if we didn't point out that Current/Elliott, the denim maestros who started the baggy beat-up jeans trend, sell their boyfrienders for only about $25 more. That said, the whole collection looks supremely soft and comfortable, and it's hard to argue with soft denim.
