A gun store owner in Las Vegas says sales have skyrocketed since President Barack Obama's election.

It's a phenomenon that's taking place across the country. There's a run on guns and ammunition -- and now it's hitting home.

The Raahauge's Shooting Sports Fair in Corona has been canceled this year, according to the Daily Bulletin. They just can't get their hands on enough ammo to hold the show.

Since President Barack Obama was elected, there has been a huge spike in gun and ammunition sales. Many are afraid he's going to tighten the laws on gun ownership, and they want to get their goods beforehand.

The Sports Fair is normally held the first weekend in June each year. It's a place where you can personally test fire all the weapons.  We're talking handguns, rifles and shotguns from all the major firearm makers and importers.

More than 10,000 people usually attend the three-day event. Guess they'll have to holster the fun until next year.
