Need a jetpack? How about a McLaren 12C Spider? Neiman Marcus is revealing their "fantasy gifts" from the 2012 Christmas Book.
If you're in search of an extravagant holiday gift, something like a $1 million pair of his and her watches, look no further.
Dallas-based luxury retailer Neiman Marcus offered up ideas as it unveiled its annual Christmas Book. The catalog is known for featuring expensive and often outrageous "fantasy gifts."
“This year’s collection of fantasy gifts is a spectacular array of more of what our valued customers have grown to love and anticipate year after year,” said John Koryl, President of Neiman Marcus Direct. “Once again there is something for everyone – from the luxury watch collector, to the video game aficionado, to the backyard farmer."
The catalog has "his and hers" gifts, which have included everything from airplanes to camels. For 2012, the retailer is offering a "his and hers" set of Van Cleef and Arpels "Poetic Wish" watches and a trip to Paris and Geneva. That gift starts at $1,090,000.
Last year's "his and hers" offering was a $1 million fountain featuring two underwater robot nozzles programed to make the water "dance" to music.
Gamers will enjoy a Pinel & Pinel Arcade PS Trunk with Formula 1 racing seats and a Playstation 3 setup with a high-powered soundsystem. But if that doesn't get your adrenaline pumping, maybe the $99,500 water-powered Jetlev jetpack might float your fancy.
Last year's offerings included a $420,000 tour of European flower shows on a private jet and a $250,000 handcrafted mahogany speedboat.
This year's catalog is the department store chain's 86th edition.
