DIAMOND BAR, Calif. -- A multi-vehicle crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar on Friday left a woman dead and two other people injured, authorities said.

The crash on the eastbound Pomona Freeway just east of Grand Avenue was reported about 3:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The injured were transported for hospital treatment, said CHP Officer David Porter. A woman was pronounced dead, said Sgt. Robert Headden of the CHP's Santa Fe Springs office. The circumstances of the collision were under investigation.
