Partygoers this New Year's Eve can leave the car keys at home, because Metro lines are running all night.

But wait. There's more

Between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m., bus and rail lines will be free of charge.

Red, Purple, Blue, Green and Gold Line trains will run every 20 minutes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to Metro. Even the less-sexy Orange Line is in on the party.

Gold Line trains taking parade-goers to Pasadena will run on an accelerated schedule to accommodate Tournament of Roses crowds, City News Service reported.
