SOUTH GATE, Calif. -- The Long Beach (710) Freeway will be closed beginning at midnight between the Artesia (91) and Glenn Anderson (105) freeways as part of a pavement-resurfacing project.

The 710 Freeway will be closed until 7 a.m. Saturday, and again from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, said Maria Raptis of Caltrans.

Also closed will be the connectors from the 91 Freeway to the northbound 710 Freeway, and from the 105 Freeway to the southbound 710 Freeway.

The closures, which will take place "weather permitting," will be repeated on the weekends of Dec. 13 and Dec. 20.
