Fritz Coleman is NBC4 Southern California's weathercaster for NBC4 News at 5, 6 and 11 p.m. A Southern California broadcasting icon, Coleman is well known for his sense of humor. He joined NBC4 in 1982 as the weekend weathercaster. Originally from Philadelphia, Coleman attended Salem College in West Virginia and Temple University in Philadelphia where he studied radio, television and film. Crystal Egger is NBC4's meteorologist for the station’s morning newscast, “Today in LA,” airing Monday-Friday, 4:30 to 7 a.m. No stranger to local weather conditions, Egger was born and raised in Southern California. When not reporting on the region’s weather, Egger enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family and friends. She and her husband are happy to be back home raising their two children. Shanna Mendiola is the meteorologist for NBC4 Southern California’s News at Noon and weekend editions of the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts. A California native, she helped raise thousands of dollars for the Filipino community post-Super Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. David Biggar is NBC4 Southern California’s meteorologist for the station's News at Noon and Today in LA Weekend. A graduate of the University of California at Davis, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. When he’s not reporting weather conditions, Biggar follows all forms of racing, from NASCAR to Formula 1 and is a licensed racecar driver. He is also an aviation and flight simulator enthusiast.
