Slight Chance of Thunderstorms for Los Angeles

    Thunderstorms in Twin Peaks and San Bernardino could head west toward Los Angeles on Tuesday.

    The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for southwestern California, saying "there is a slight chance of thunderstorms for the mountains and deserts, the interior valleys of San Luis Obispo County, and the Cuyama Valley."

    The outlook included the Antelope Valley and the mountains of LA County, not including the Santa Monica range.

    On Tuesday, the NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for central Riverside County. It was set to expire at 11:45 a.m. A flash flood warning was issued for San Bernardino County. A flash flood watch was issued for Riverside County.

    Highs will be in the 70s at the beaches, near 90 in the San Gabriel, Santa Clarita and Pomona valleys, and the 90s in the San Fernando and Antelope valleys.
