Warm temperatures will continue across the Southland with high winds raising the concern of fire danger heading into the weekend.

Thursday's high will be 83 degrees with a low of 52. Winds will remain mostly calm through Thursday, with gusts kicking up on Friday.
High-wind watches were issued for parts of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Northeast winds will range between 25 and 40 mph, with gusts up to 70 mph possible, according to the NWS.
The recent summer-caliber sizzle set a record in Santa Ana on Wednesday with a high of 85. Burbank tied its record of 85 degrees on Wednesday.
"The reason for this: high pressure in place over the Great Basin, as well as the Pacific, keeping the storm track well to our north," NBC4 weathercaster Elita Loresca said. "That (system) is driving some strong northeast winds, at least yesterday."
"Those winds will be returning though beginning Friday night into Saturday; potential for some moderate to strong Santa Ana winds will develop," Loresca said.
