Apple Holds Event on Sept. 9

Apple's next big event, where it will likely unveil its new iPhone, will be held on Sept. 9, according to reports.

Apple's usual big media events unveil new devices, and this one possibly will show the new iPhone 6 in two new sizes, according to 9to5Mac. The two new phones are rumored to have displays of  4.7 and 5.5 inches, and if Apple does this event according to previous events, it would be available to consumers by Sept. 19.

The only problem has been persistent reports that Apple has been having trouble getting the bigger iPhone to market -- because production hasn't kept up with demand. Insiders at Apple also say that there should be more products coming down the pipeline and that the new iWatch may also make an appearance, as well as iPads with Touch ID sensors.

Apple's so-called iWatch needs to make an appearance. It's been about three years since the project has been rumored, and Apple needs to deliver soon or risk losing all momentum to its rivals.
