Facebook Auto-Enhancing Your Photos

Taking a page from Google+, Facebook is now auto-enhancing images uploaded to the social network.

Previously Facebook mobile allowed a button to do a one-time light "enhancement" for a photo or use a Facebook filter, according to TechCrunch. Now new photos will come already enhanced by Facebook and users will be able to lessen or heighten the effect. Photos uploaded onto an iPhone will immediately be auto-enhanced, while Android phones will have a slower rollout of the Facebook enhancements, the Verge reported.

It's uncertain whether this is a plus or minus (although TechCrunch wasn't a fan because it viewed it as "heavy-handed") but this will make photos much more presentable with little or no effort on anyone's part. For many uploading photos, it will likely not even be noticed.
