Tuesday the two worlds will come together when the search company hosts the South Korean diplomat in a Google+ Hangout.
"We’re passionate about changing the world," Dex Torricke-Barton, with Google's Global Communications and Public Affairs team, said in a statement. "But there’s another organization that’s equally passionate—and has been doing it a lot longer. For more than 60 years, the United Nations has worked to advance a global agenda on ending war and poverty, promoting human rights, protecting the environment and dealing with humanitarian crises—critical issues that will determine the quality of life for future generations to come."
Google will stream the Hangout live on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. on YouTube. It will be moderated by Google’s SVP of Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer David C. Drummond.
Select users from across the globe will also be given the opportunity to ask Moon questions.
The Hangout is part of an ongoing series the tech company is hosting with world leaders and trend setters.
